I couldn’t care less what your eyebrows are doing when you’re doing a media interview or a talk. Why? Because if you over-rotate on worrying about what’s up with your eyebrows, your face will look even stranger and you’ll forget your message.
Your first priority in any communication is your audience: What gift are you giving them? How is what you’re saying useful?
Your second priority is delivering a great message: stories, soundbites, data to support both.
If you really empathize with your audience and you have conviction about your message, your face and gestures will reflect that.
Start from the inside – your insights, your empathy. Let the outside – your eyebrows – take care of themselves!
